Science Fair

Our Science Fair will be held on Tuesday, February 25.  Judging will take place in the morning.  

Parents are welcome to come for viewing from 2:10 pm - 3:45 pm. 

It’s time to think about Science Fair!  We will be having our Science Fair on February 25.  Some grades will be working during science class over the next 2 months to create a Science Project, which follows the inquiry process.  If your child is not in one of these grades, they can still participate in the Science Fair.  If your child is interested in participating please contact me and I will send home a criterion package for you to follow.

Individual work is encouraged, but we are allowing students to work with a partner, but they must be seen to be sharing the workload and we do not allow groups of 3 or more.

 We ask that you be ready to “assist”, but not “do” the project for your child.

On the date of the fair, we would be pleased if you could drop in and see your child’s hard work.   Judges will be around through the day with some of the projects chosen to go the Westman Science Fair.

The Western Manitoba Science Fair (WMSF) takes place on April 8.  Students whose projects have come first or second in their category at the school level will have the opportunity, if they wish, to participate in the WMSF.
