Brookwood South School Engagement Meeting

Brandon School Division would like to thank everyone who attended the Brookwood South School Information Session held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Vincent Massey High School. 

The evening provided an opportunity for community members to learn more about the new Kindergarten to Grade 8 school planned for the Brookwood South community, which is expected to welcome students in September 2027. Attendees were able to view preliminary design concepts, learn about project timelines, and connect with Brandon School Division Trustees and staff.

We appreciate the strong community interest and engagement shown throughout the event and look forward to continuing to share updates as planning and construction progress toward the opening of this exciting new school.



Brandon School Division is excited to be opening a new Kindergarten to Grade 8 school in the Brookwood South community.  The new school is expected to be open and ready to welcome students in September 2027. 

Brandon School Division’s Board of Trustees is excited to share details about the new school. Please join us for an open-house style information session on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the library at Vincent Massey High School (715 McDiarmid Drive, Brandon) to learn about the project timelines, design features, and what to expect for the upcoming opening.
